No. 230447.” It measures 11 inches in diameter .  Made of semi-vitreous pottery in Sebring and East Liverpool, Ohio, from 1887 to 1948. The Farber Brothers were located in New York City and known for their Farberware. Sebring made dishes in several floral designs and sizes for Farberware with metal holders. The “U. S. Patent No. 230447” shows that the design was registered with the government around 1940.
Condition: Used.  There are no chips or major cracks or repairs. This item does have a lot of crazing and one dent in the metal rim. There are some spots of discoloration on the front and back. However, I worked on this piece trying to clean it up and I was able to remove several dark spots by making a paste of powdered cleanser that contained bleach. I let that paste sit on the spots for a couple of hours before rinsing it off. I didn’t want to spend a lot of time removing them all. Please review all photos
